First of all, you have to insert the society's registration country. Than, its name or its European VAT number.

When you search, results are displayed in descending turnover order. Sometimes you will find more than just a company with a certain name: s-peek will than ask you to go deeper with the company's information (i.e. the city where that company is registered).
